Should I build on Shopify or on an open-source storefront?
If you want to launch quickly, keep operations light, and your business processes fit the Shopify ecosystem, Shopify / Shopify Plus is usually the better choice. If you have higher requirements for the shopping experience, business workflows, data ownership or platform fees, a Headless storefront built on an open-source framework such as MedusaJS is worth considering. We look at your business stage and team first, then make a recommendation; we do not start from a preset answer.
Can you optimize performance without rebuilding the site?
Yes. Performance optimization is a standalone service: we establish a Core Web Vitals baseline (LCP, INP, CLS, TTFB), locate the bottlenecks, then optimize images, JavaScript, CSS, caching and CDN on the existing site, and keep tracking the metrics before and after. This applies to both Shopify stores and self-built sites.
